LA VACHERE

The Logis La Vachère is a townhouse dating from 1732, in the heart of the historic center of Avallon, completely restored. French ceilings at 3.60 m for the highest, terracotta tiles, period interior woodwork, some old decorations preserved, we recreated all the bathrooms, kitchens and heating, which the building lacked. Lovers of old buildings, we carried out lime, hemp and wood wool insulation to respect the atmosphere of this house and all the exterior woodwork is new. The complex is composed of 4 apartments, we find:

- On the ground floor, a studio for 2 people,

- On the 1st floor, a duplex with balcony for 4 people and a one-bedroom apartment with terrace for 2 people,

- On the 2nd floor, a large studio in the attic.

Each apartment is equipped with a coffee maker with coffee and tea for your arrival, a bath towel and a hand towel per person, a bath mat and bedding (duvet and two 50 x 70 cm pillows).

As well as a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, a microwave and a stovetop. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with city views.

The neighborhood

Located in the historic district of the town of Avallon, you have access to restaurants like Dame Jeanne (tea room? restaurant), Cuisine Angeline (concert, lounge evening in summer) lunch, dinner, Les Cordois, l'Horloge (bar restaurant) and various Tibetan, Italian restaurants... But also 80m from the tourist office, the Saint Lazare Collegiate Church, the Avallon Museum, the Clock Tower and the ramparts, you can stroll and visit the city entirely on foot.
